Best vpn for warzone12/28/2023 For the best possible results, aim to connect to servers from countries where it’s the morning or early afternoon. Instead, it’ll be a more random experience and should be a lot easier in terms of general gameplay. In other words, you’ll be able to switch to a less popular region, where there won’t be enough players to match up via K/D. As an IP address is used to define which region you’re connected from, you can switch your location and timezone by connecting to a VPN server from a different country. Virtual private networks (VPNs) work to create a private connection between your device and its servers, which also changes the user’s IP address. With decent internet and a good VPN provider, your connection would probably be fine. Many streamers have been accused of using geo-filtering to “reverse boost” their accounts, ensuring lots of wins and kills during gameplay. ![]() I think warzone is a great game and this strict SBMM and EBMM and whitelists and all this other shady shit is just a bummer. I won't be VPNing because the connection is just shit and I want to continue playing on XBOX because that's where my friends and I play all our games (crossing fingers for FOV slider). It might be common knowledge to some but I wanted to test for myself and my findings just suck. I appreciate anyone who took the time to read. I know this was long but I just wanted to share my thoughts and wrote this on my lunch break. Unless I put some more time or money into this which I have no desire to do. I might try running a couple more tests but as a console player, this doesn't look like something I could do and have a stable connection. I start a queue for verdansk duos and the lil searching for a match with VPN Location > back to PC > then to xbox. I look at my network settings in call of duty and sure enough, it says I'm in Seattle. just to check the "Best connection theory". So I follow some youtube videos and get my VPN connection to go to the xbox. So that's a significant jump in my opinion. Exclusive Ace did a video on this months ago and he mentioned the same thing, when using a VPN his connection was more stable (no orange cheese slices) and in his small sample size the lobbies did go down in KD on average, something like a 1.25 would be a 1.05. They weren't using the VPN to get easier lobbies (allegedly) but using it to get a better gameplay experience. I remember reading a post on this sub about someone who used a VPN to go to a location that is closest to them and for some reason, the VPN would allow them to connect to the closest server and give them a better ping, they were from Alberta as well. except for the first match of the day which can sometimes hover around a 1. So after the test, it looks like I can play without a VPN on with the xbox and PC connected through ethernet ports and the PC connected wirelessly.įor reference when I check my cod tracker, my verdansk average KD lobbies are always between 1.15 and 1.4. but anyways I never get that type of connection. If I check my ping to warzone servers from my PC I should be getting 40-70 according to some shitty site I found, but I'm not sure how reliable it is. So I load into plunder normally (without the VPN on) just to test to see if the connection my xbox was getting from my PC was stable enough to play, sure enough, my ping was around 80-120, same as what I usually play on. ![]() so just a lil bit slower than 300 that I get hard wired in. Tested my connection speed on my PC using my service provider's speed test and I was getting 200 down and up. I connected the xbox to the PC using the ethernet ports and I connected my laptop to the internet over the wifi. I used my laptop for this test and it only has 1 ethernet port. ![]() After reading a lot of articles and watching videos about VPNs correlating to lobby strength and connections I decided to do a test because I thought it was a bunch of phony bologna. I play with my brother who hovers around a 1, also on Xbox. ![]() For reference, I am a 2.37 KD player on Xbox. This is a long post, TL DR at the end if you care to skip but I wanted to share.
